Why is the photo of my identity document not accepted?

To ensure a proper and secure account verification, the document image must meet the following requirements:

  • We require photos of both sides of the document (except in the case of a passport).

  • The image must be clear, fully legible, and free from glare or reflections that may obscure any details or security features.

  • The photo must show all four corners of the document. We recommend not editing or cropping the image.

  • If you submit a NIE that does not include a photograph, we will also require a valid ID card or passport from your country of origin.

Finally, if an image is rejected, the same photo will not be accepted if uploaded again. Therefore, we recommend taking a new photo before resubmitting, as uploading the same image may cause delays in the verification process.
